Hello, you. Yeah, you. 

Jk….maybe 👀

Whether you already know me or just stumbled into my little corner of the internet….hi. I’m Alexandrine (or Alex, if you’re not ready to wrestle with that many syllables) and this is my very first blog post on my very first website. It’s been a long time coming, but here we are—ready to dive into something I’ve always dreamed of but was just a little too scared to start… until now.

I’ve always wanted to create merch and products with my illustrations, and now that I’ve finally kicked fear in the teeth, it’s happening with the help of Gelato and Shopify. And yes…I will figure out how to make stickers so we can take over the world one tiny adhesive masterpiece at a time…but for now…baby steps.

A quick glimpse of me:

I’m a ✨smol✨ French Canadian woman full of sass, unhinged adhd and stubborn dreams. I thrive in gardening, houseplants, gaming, and absolute kitchen chaos haha. If I’m not covered in dirt, I’m covered in flour, gaming or being shamed by Netflix  asking me if I want to continue watching my 6 hour marathon….or scarfing down something I baked at 2 a.m. And in the summer? You’ll find me under my maple tree, sketching on a picnic blanket.

My art? It’s a cocktail of cute, some of it is macabre and mental health-themed. Some is a little spicy (NSFW-ish, you’ve been warned). And some is just soft, sweet, or full-blown chibi cuteness. It won’t be everyone’s cup of tea and that’s the point. But if even one piece speaks to you, or you think it might be perfect for someone you know? Then I’m doing something right.

This site is my playground, my portfolio, and a bit of a personal rebellion against “playing it safe.” So if this feels like a lot, or too much…then honestly that’s good. It’s real. It’s mine. And now, it’s yours too.
